The Biotechnology of Accelerated Composting of Animal and Vegetable Organic Waste, is an economical and simple alternative for the elaboration of composts of high agricultural value, to safely take advantage of the organic matter and nutrient contained in the organic waste.
What is accelerated composting?
Quickly available nutrients are supplied to animal or vegetable organic wastes, beneficial microorganisms and enzymes are inoculated, as well as nutrients and extracts to control foul odors, causing an exothermic reaction which accelerates the transformation or biodegradation of organic matter : carbohydrates, fats, proteins, etc., unfold into different elements and compounds easily assimilated by plants.
Action mode
Accelerated composting is achieved with the application of natural organic products and the inoculation of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi), under humidity and aeration-controlled conditions.
60CPA It is a concentrate of humic acids combined with liquid extracts from desert plants and seaweed, which act as composting agents that activate biological processes.
It is a mixture of bacteria and fungi with high capacity for enzymatic production (cellulases, lipases, proteases, amylases, etc.), which rapidly degrade waste and produce high agricultural value composts in a short time.
Enviro-Plus It is a product based on extracts of desert plants that have a great capacity for binding to nitrogen, preventing it from being lost in the form of ammonia, and retains it in a non-volatile or toxic form, making it available for the synthesis of various nitrogen compounds, according to the needs of the plants. The above greatly reduces the emission of foul odors.
Mature animal and plant wastes without decreasing soil nutrients; this is to avoid the "nitrogen hunger" caused by the incorporation of fresh waste, in addition to giving them sanitary quality to avoid soil contamination.
Achieve accelerated degradation (under controlled temperature and aeration conditions), to obtain a mature compost within two months, with the following characteristics:
■ Excellent agro sanitary quality (free of pathogens and organic toxins).
■ High agricultural value (due to its high organic matter content, a neutral or slightly alkaline pH, a carbon-nitrogen ratio of less than 20: 1 and adequate levels of N, P, K, Ca and Mg).
■Well-made compost does not burn, does not harm and does not pollute soil, water or the¿ environment.
Obtain composts with high organic matter content to cushion the problems of acidity, alkalinity, compaction and nutritional imbalances, and to improve the physicochemical and microbiologic quality of agricultural soils.
Manage Organic Matter Regeneration Programs to improve the physical quality of the soils, in addition to balanced fertilization to meet the nutrient demand of the crop (soil-plant duality).
Benefits of reincorporating organic matter through Composts
Physical
The compost improves soil structure, avoiding compaction and facilitating tillage.
□ Prevents erosion.
□ Regulates soil permeability and drainage, increasing water retention capacity.
□ Improves root aeration and growth.
Chemical
Improves the cationic exchange capacity, thus generating greater passage of nutrients through the soil solution.
□ Humic and fulvic acids unblock the nutrients that are fixed in the soil and make them assimilable by plants, contributing to rescue the nutritious riches in the soil.
□ The main benefit is that it increases the content of organic matter, which is essential to maintain the life and fertility of the soil (although organic matter only represents 1 to 8% of its components).
Biological
It introduces beneficial microbial flora and promotes a greater development of it.
□ It exerts a competitive displacement on soil phytopathogenic microorganisms.
